The Dance course teaches the application of correct technique that can be used as a dancer, choreographer or teacher and encourages the appreciation of style and the demands of performance. It will focus your discipline and a commitment to regular practice, whilst allowing for the development of your creativity and self-expression.
Vision
For our students to become accomplished dancers, it is necessary to understand the origins of dance to gain the foundations of stylistic features across different genres. You will take part in professional workshops and have performance opportunities throughout the school year to showcase your progress and understanding of dance.
